TWO MONKEYS, LLC is looking for a full-time Industrial Designer to work in our New York location.

Duties include:

• Analyze and formulate idea conception of products on digital and tangible. 

• Modify and refine designs, using working models, to conform with international customer specifications, production limitations, and changes in design trends. 

• Evaluate feasibility of design ideas, based on factors such as appearance, safety, function, serviceability, budget, production costs/methods, and market characteristics. 

• Confer with clientele to establish and evaluate design concepts for their products from initial concept planning to design execution and product dissemination. 

• Present designs and reports to global customers or design committees for approval and discuss need for modification. 

• Research production specifications, costs, production materials, and manufacturing methods and provide cost estimates and itemized production requirements based on international industrial research. 

• Direct and coordinate the fabrication of models and the drafting of working drawings and specification sheets from designs. 

• Participate in new product planning or global market research, including studying the potential need for new products. 

• Read publications and study competing products, design styles and motifs to obtain perspective and generate design concepts. 

• Coordinate the branding, look and function of product lines and associated marketing for clientele. 

• Design graphic material for use as illustration and advertising on manufactured materials and digital platforms. 

• Advise corporate clientele on issues involving image projects and branding.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design; 5 years of progressively responsible experience in international product design engineering for commercial entities.
